Hi, our MITB Basic Course ’21 is approaching. Here there are fresh news about it.
We will have this year new Temporal Bone Lab next to Experimental Otology and Laser-Doppler Vibrometry Labs at School of Medicine in Malaga (see facilities).
We will also have available positions for virtual dissections using the VES (Virtual Ear Simulator) developed by Alexandra Institute in Dennmark. This 3D platform will introduce residents to temporal bone cadaver dissection techniques and the complex anatomy of this bone.
We will also count on this year with two special anatomical presentations by prof. A. Smith and V. Smith focused on neural and vascular elements of the temporal bone.
We have also followed the suggestions and preferences of previous students, and we will have continuous dissection sessions during morning and afternoon consecutively during the two days.
As it has been requested by our colleagues and sponsors we are preparing a second advanced course including in-vivo surgical sessions to fulfil the needs of advaced students and specialists.
